The last remaining tree of a species known as Humbertiodendron saboureaui Leandro. All other trees of this species have been cut. and this tree is reported to be the very last one of its kind. This tree was saved due to it not being perfectly straight. It’s part of a devastated forest from logging and intentional fire near the village of Andranokoditra, in Madagascar.
