Mexican Wolf, (Canis lupus baileyi) in an enclosure at the California Wolf Center in the Cuyamaca Mountains near Julian, California. They are part of the Southwest Wolf Project which was established to reintroduce these animals into habitat in the US and Mexico they were exterminated from.
